A complete guide to configuring your storefront, uploading logos, banners, and setting up delivery methods.

Shop Settings & Configuration

Your shop's settings control everything from how it looks to how customers pay. Navigate to Dashboard > Shops > Settings to access the configuration accordion. Here is what you can manage in each section:

1. General Settings

  • Shop Name & Tagline: Update your store's name and add a short, catchy phrase.
  • Description: A detailed explanation of your store for customers and SEO.
  • Shop Status: Easily toggle your shop "Active" or "Inactive". (Inactive shops are hidden from the public).

2. Branding

  • Shop Logo: Upload or change your store's logo (Recommended: 512x512px).
  • Brand Colors: Select a Primary and Secondary color to match your brand identity across the storefront.

3. Featured Slider

Add up to 5 promotional banners to your shop's homepage (ideal dimensions: 1200x600px). You can link each banner directly to:

  • A specific Product
  • A specific Category
  • A Custom URL

4. Contact Information & Domain

  • Contact Information: Update your Shop Email, Phone, WhatsApp, and Business Address. You can also pin your location on an interactive map!
  • Domain: Manage your free Neomali subdomain (your-shop.neomali.com) or connect a Custom Domain (e.g., www.yourbrand.co.ke).

5. Payment & Shipping

  • Shop Payment: Configure your M-Pesa phone number, toggle Cash on Delivery, and set your shop's primary currency (e.g., KES, USD).
  • Shipping: Quickly jump to the dedicated Shipping Settings dashboard to manage advanced location-based rates.
Save often! Each section has its own "Save Changes" button, so you can update individual settings without reloading the whole page.
