Product & Inventory Management

This guide explains how to effectively add and organize products in your store. Note: You must verify your email and create at least one Category before adding products.

1. Organizing with Categories

Go to Products > Categories to create groups (e.g., "Men's Wear", "Electronics"). You can even create categories "on the fly" directly from the Add Product page!

2. Product Details

Navigate to Products > Add Product to open the product creation form.

• Product Name: Use a clear, descriptive name.
• Description: Use the rich-text editor to add formatted text, lists, and links.
• Images: Upload multiple high-quality images. The first image automatically becomes the main thumbnail.

3. Pricing & Inventory

• Regular Price: The standard price customers will pay.
• Sale Price (Optional): Enter a discounted price. The regular price will be crossed out on the storefront.
• Quantity: Enter your current stock level. As customers buy, this number decreases automatically.

4. Advanced Configuration

Click the Advanced (optional) accordion to reveal powerful features for store management:

• Slug (URL): Customize the link to this product.
• SKU & Barcode: Enter internal tracking codes (useful for POS scanning).
• Purchase Cost: Track your profit margins (hidden from customers).
• Stock Alert Threshold: Get notified when stock falls below a specific number.
• Tags & Featured: Add organizational tags or highlight the product in featured sections.
• Weight & Dimensions: Essential if you use calculated shipping rates.

5. Organization & Branch Availability

• Category: Assign the product to a category on the right sidebar.
• Status: Toggle "Product is Active" to temporarily hide it as a draft.
• Branch Availability: If you are on a premium plan, you can select exactly which of your branches carry this product!
