Managing Orders
The Orders dashboard gives you a complete overview of all your sales. Efficient order management leads to happy customers and repeat business.
1. The Orders Dashboard
Navigate to Dashboard > Orders to see your order history. You can easily find specific orders using the tools at the top:
- Filter by Status: View only Pending, Processing, Shipped, Delivered, or Cancelled orders.
- Sorting: Sort orders by newest/oldest or by total amount (high to low).

2. Understanding Order Cards
Each order appears as a card showing critical information at a glance:
- Order #: A unique identifier for the transaction.
- Customer: The name of the buyer.
- Total: The final checkout amount (in your shop's currency).
- Dispatch: If the customer selected a preferred dispatch time, it appears here.
3. Order & Payment Statuses
We use color-coded badges to help you quickly identify the state of an order.
Payment Statuses
- Paid The M-Pesa transaction was successful.
- Pending Payment The customer initiated an M-Pesa prompt but hasn't completed it.
- Payment Failed The transaction was cancelled or declined.
- Cash on Delivery The customer opted to pay upon receiving the item.
Fulfillment Statuses
- Pending / Processing The order is new and needs your attention.
- Shipped The order is with the courier or out for delivery.
- Delivered The order is complete!
- Cancelled The order was voided.
4. Viewing Order Details
Click the View button on any order card to see the full breakdown, including:
- The specific items and quantities purchased.
- The customer's full shipping address, email, and phone number.
- Controls to manually update the order status (e.g., changing it from Processing to Shipped).
Communication is key: If an M-Pesa payment fails, check the order details for the customer's WhatsApp number and reach out to help them complete the purchase manually!
