Buying Guide (Customers)

How customers buy from a shop: cart → checkout → payment.

Checkout steps

  1. Open a shop and browse products.
  2. Add items to your cart and proceed to checkout.
  3. Log in/register to continue checkout (orders are associated with your customer account).
  4. Enter shipping details (address + county; neighborhood/area may be required if the shop uses location-based rates).
  5. Choose a payment method (M-Pesa, or Cash on Delivery if enabled by the shop).
  6. Place your order and complete payment if prompted.

Payment methods

M-Pesa is available at checkout. Cash on Delivery is available only if the shop has Pro features enabled.

If M-Pesa prompt fails

Checkout provides a manual Paybill option where the customer pays using the shop slug as the account number and then submits the transaction code for verification.
